So Daemons is done and waiting to go live, Snowball was released wordlwide yesterday (3,000+ installs and counting so far) but does that mean we are resting here at Kill5 and putting our feet up? Certainly not. We are busy beavering away on our latest (and cutest) game 'Puffball Hunter'.
Without giving away too much, it's a Box2D physics game that sees you trying to capture as many Puffballs as possibe and seeing how much money you can earn. We'll have some playable demos up here soon, but for now here is a little teaser screenshot...awwwwww....

SnowBall's Chance in Hell goes live
So today is a rather exciting day, "Snowball's Chance in Hell" our first iPhone game has officially launched and is available for free in the App Store.
The game itself is a take on the classic ball rolling tilt game, but starring a poor Snowball who has somehow got himself stuck in the hottest layers of Hell, and frankly it's not to his liking.
The game was built using the amazing Unity Engine, which was simply a joy to use, and none of us here can wait to start on working on the next title.
Anyways here are some screenshots and also the link so that you can go get it for your iPhone / iPod Touch

Daemons : Last Day of Production
Ok, so without wanting to ruin any suprises, we just thought we'd show you some tiny bits of our new game for Spil, 'Daemons'.
It's a point and click adventure with added mini game sections (think somewhere between Zelda and Monkey Island with sprinklings of Pokemon) loosely based on Welsh Mythology.
The main character is called Brawen and it has fallen to her to work out what is going on in her village and why all the adults have disappeared.
The game is launching in 14 languages and it has taken a few sleepless nights of data entry but just seeing all the conversations in the game running in Japanese has made it worthwhile for me already :)
This is also going to be the first game where we are plugging in full Google Analytics reporting, so we can not just see how many players we have had, but also how long puzzles took to solve and what route players take through the world.
Anyways, as soon as I can I will be publishing the link for you all to go play it.

Snowballs Away!
So we have just submitted 'Snowball's Chance In Hell' to the App Store, now it's just a matter of waiting to see if they come back with a list of changes or just let in through (testing iPhone games could easily prove expensive, as ideally you'd know it works on all generations and all iterations but that's not really possible, so we have just tested on our dev device, and God Knows about OS 3.0)
You can see some screenies here of a slightly before-release version though apart from the FPS counter, it looks identical to the Release.
So we are now about 2 months in to Snowball's life, having built the game to learn Unity, then discovering the wonderful joys of becoming an official Apple Developer, then joining iTunes Connect, then Code-Signing our game, then waiting (this process involves lots of waiting.) So fingers crossed that soon this game will actually launch and we can start planning our next iPhone game (with hopefully a quicker turn around now).
Chrisx
